Description: Infant gorillas spend most of their time with their mothers for the first 1-1.5 years of their life.  When infants reach age 2 or 3  they begin interacting with other group members. While gorillas do spend a lot of time with their mothers when they are newborns, as they get older they become very more active with other group members and enjoy socializing, playing and wrestling.
