Description: Traveling across the floor of Lamar Valley, this coyote was looking for food and not having much luck. Running across an elk skeleton from the previous spring, she investigated the scattered leg bones and ribs. The skull interested her the most. She rolled it around with her front feet and chewed and licked it for a couple of minutes, then gave up on the whole thing and went off to find something fresher.
