Description: The Druid Peak wolf pack lays claim to the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone. The Grey Wolf, Canis lupis, once roamed from the Artic tundra to Mexico. Deliberate extermination led to their demise throughout most of the United States. By 1926, ther were no wolves left in Yellowstone National Park. Wolf restoration began in Yellowstone in 1995 when 14 wolves from Canada were released into Yellowstone. They can be black or grey, and even white. Every print and book are signed by Tom Murphy |
