Description: This Druid Pack wolf yearling had been feeding with other pack members on an elk carcass along Soda Butte Creek. An unattached male had been lurking near the pack in late February during the mating season. The yearling casually wandered alone toward the male on the ridge to the west. About 300 yards from the male the yearling sat down, then lay down to watch the interloper. After a few minutes the yearling stretched and made a big loop off to the right returning to the security of its pack. Every print and book are signed by Tom Murphy |
