Description: Waterfalls never freeze solid. There is water moving under or around the ice. Undine Falls by mid-winter can be completely encased in ice, silencing the two falls. Usually if any of the falls is open, it is at the base of the lower 50 foot fall. On cold nights a fringe of new ice may form around the open spot framing it in delicate lace. Undines are mythological female water spirits who can acquire a soul after marrying a mortal and bearing a child. Every print and book are signed by Tom Murphy |
