Description: Cumulus clouds are puffy heaps of water and ice.  Clouds create constantly changing scenes in the sky. Light plays around and through the clouds as they travel with the wind.  Clouds are visible compositions of minute particles of dust, minerals, water, and ice. Warm air can carry more moisture than cold air, so when a warm air mass meets a cold air mass the cooling process can create some sort of precipitation. Winds move the air masses, so by noticing the wind’s direction and intensity and observing the height, shape, and changes in clouds, we can anticipate weather changes. It is also just nice to see the colors and dynamics of the giant piles of moisture sailing back and forth above us in their infinite variety.
