Canada Geese in Warm Runoff Channel
$100.00 – $1,500.00
In the Lower Geyser Basin a runoff channel from some thermals keeps this marsh open all winter. Canada geese and a few ducks frequent the area to feed and rest. The heavy snowfall did not bother them since they are built to be wet most of the time. They waited patiently, settled up next to the grass clumps in the mud. Some dozed off, some watched the nearby marsh, occasionally shaking their heads to remove beads of snowmelt from their faces.
