Coyote Traveling on the Ice of the Yellowstone River
$100.00 – $1,500.00
Ice on the Yellowstone River provides a perfect corridor for traveling through the Hayden Valley in February. This sunny morning came the day after a windy storm. Scalloped drifts stood firmly above the river bank creating a new temporary landscape of sharp, small cliff edges and canyons. This male coyote moved on the ice, skirting the drifts, stopping occasionally to look off southwest over the snow into the light breeze before he disappeared around the corner upriver.
