Sage, Lupine, Buckwheat, Geranium
$100.00 – $1,500.00
A wet winter and spring produced one of the best wildflower crops of a decade. Early in July the Lamar Valley was covered with flowering forbs. Plants in their seasonal succession produced a dynamic array of color and texture during the entire summer. Some areas had concentrations of purple, then pink, then yellow, stretching for miles, mixed with the rich greens and gold of the grasses and the gray blues of the sage. This particular summer produced a rejuvenation of seeds and strengthened root stocks while providing an overabundance of forage for the fattening wildlife.
