Description
Beehive Geyser is a cone-type geyser shooting water more than 200 feet high. The rounded cone looks like an old-fashioned beehive. The geyser erupts infrequently, but occasionally it has regular cycles of 12 to 24 hours for several days. When it erupts it makes a wonderful roar and throws water in a vertical plume. The mist drifts over the boardwalk, creating a rainbow whenthe sun is right. The water is cool by the time it falls back to the ground and tastes good.
