Description
This young bison calf was the only one of his herd who had the curiousity and nerve to want a closer look at me. He came as close as he dared and twisted his head around and peeked through the sage, sniffing. When he decided I was not worth any more effort or risk to get closer, he turned and walked away, then kicked up his heels and ran back to the others.
