Description
Elk had been traveling across this hillside at different times over the past week. A half-hour after sunrise this bull was traveling north, following older elk tracks. The angle of the sun was slightly higher than the angle of the slope, so the elk’s shadow stretched out below him almost twice as large as he was. The other elk tracks add nice depth and texture to the landscape.
