Description
Runoff from the geysers and hot springs in the Lower Geyser Basin has flooded acres of pine trees. These shallow pools never freeze, so aquatic plants are available year-round. This food attracts wildlife. The five Canada geese were wading through a steamy maze of dead trees, seemingly murmuring winter gossip or weather reports.
