Description
Along a dry stream channel near Columbine Creek, this frog sat in the gravel strip among the high meadow grasses. There were a lot of mosquitoes and insects for the frog to eat near this marshy stream which flows off the southwest slope of Top Notch Peak to the Lake. It was risky for the frog to be in the open because everything–from herons to coyotes to hawks to snakes–would like to eat it.
