Description
Grey Crowned Cranes inhabit a large range with a global population estimated at 58,000-77,000 individuals. Grey Crowned Cranes inhabit wetlands, open savannas, croplands and pastures. A generalist, the species’ diet consists of seed heads, sedges, nuts, grains, insects and amphibians.
