Description
Ravens can live almost anywhere. They do well in the subzero Arctic, in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, and in the temperate rainforests of coastal British Columbia. The have been seen flying above climbers in the death zone above 26,000 feet on Mount Everest. This particular bird was picking through slushy snow looking for edible items from a nearby elk carcass.
